Perth to Moffat

Underway on the final stage of the first Scottish adventure, from Perth south to Moffat. Satnav not up to date enough and directed us off the M90 when we had no need to do so. Caused a minor problem as the road we were directed on was no longer a through road but a little bit of following both nose and road atlas put us right. Arrive at Camping and Caravanning Club site at Moffat having missed what was the obvious turning and ended up in the middle of a sheep dog trial where there was little room to turn round. The site and Moffat was fine, it is largely used as a transit site, being the most southerly C&CC club site in Scotland, which does a dis-service to the town of Moffat which is lovely. Became rich on the wool industry, still a major town with a delightful main street. Spoiled ourselves with a Chinese takeaway which was just a walk away from the site. We spent two nights here - it was very pleasant, but the site was very busy with comings and goings.
